This game seems to find the perfect balance between challenging and playable. It takes a few attempts to get a hand of the controls and it takes the right amount of time to get good. Would and have recommended this game to many friends. Tons of fun. Looking forward to the possible addition of new features amd levels.

I was really disappointed when I read the reviews on this game and realized that it went over so many peoples heads. News flash: the controls are supposed to be difficult to master. I know the countless hours of candy crush have made the average iOS user forget what a decent game looks like, but this right here is a masterpiece. Beautifully designed, very atmospheric and creative, not to mention the practically seamless physics and flying mechanics. A 3 star rating definitely does not give Piloteer the credit it deserves so I encourage everyone to give it a try and rate fairly!

Controls are awful and the missions are impossible

Bit hard but very nice

Pros: - fun, challenging, bite size gaming - some laugh-out-loud moments when you crash Cons: - STEEP learning curve (patience is an asset here!) - 3 play areas (and the two i visited are visually the same) The game is currently free, and thats worth a try, but I wouldnt pay more than $1 for it and no way id pay for microtrans (but im not sure if there are any).

Im glad it was free. Deleted after half an hour.

The jetpack is soooooo touchy. If the the force it puts out is cut in half, it might not take several hours of my time to first learn to play your game, rather than actually playing. I spent all my time in free fly because I couldnt complete the second mission

Dont get this game if you hate bad controls

This game is terrrible! The controls are extremly bad and when you attempt to do challenges the birds always get in the way! Birds have a better intelligence than that! Even when your standing on an object Thats not moving you get hit every second! Dont download

Theres a bug on the mission " back flip and land on the sausage stand" in the park. Fix it!!!!!!

The entire game is based off of horrible controls, which immediately takes away from what would otherwise be a fun game. Also, the rings are unresponsive and every time you complete something (say, a backflip) and need to do something else after, the game freezes for a moment and then continues. This lag is very annoying because it causes you to crash. Also, the balance gets thrown off way too easily. Even if a bird taps your foot, you start to swing uncontrollably, causing you to plummet to the ground and fail your mission. And thats another complaint. The birds are far too many and are too annoying. It seems as if theyre only included to infuriate the player. Also, the view of the environment doesnt zoom out far enough to let you see incoming obstacles. Additionally, sometimes my character gets stuck on a bench and cant get out, which makes me have to restart the entire mission even if I was really close to beating it. This game is horrible due to its many problems. Dont waste your time and money on this thing.

Stupid, random mechanism makes this game a stupid, random pack of frustration.

Wish there were customizable characters and jetpacks

This game is really fun. The controls are challenging, but that is part of the gameplay. The artwork is really good. Four stars because there is no iCloud support. The birds are so frustrating! I think they push the character a little too much.

Fun game. Addictive. Im just annoyed because Ive been playing for a very long time and have crashed and killed myself about 10,000 times. The Game Center challenge count still says 28% of 500 and hasnt moved. Deleted the game twice (the first to get the very first badge, Cadet, after the first challenge which didnt award me with the badge. Please fix these weird little things!

Piloteer is a great time waster, but not really a game that tests your skill. The only difficulty in this game comes from broken control mechanics and the birds that will directly fly in to you, completely throwing you off. For starters, you control the jet pack with a human (who apparently forgot that they have limbs) strapped on to it, creating a dead weight that will flail around while you are flying. Birds will also be flying back and forth in the air, causing your meat sack to bump in to them and throw off your momentum. Periodically, there will be birds that will kamikaze in to you and most likely cause you to crash. Not very much variety in the challenges or levels. After beating gold, I thought there might be more variety in the challenges, but its basically all the same, just with an added timer and a jet pack that works slightly better.
